New economy Planetary Gearboxes with helical gearing for the Packaging, Automation and Robotics Markets

With its new ServoFit® PE range of inline planetary gear units; STOBER is extending its scope of supply by offering the cost optimised PE series where price, delivery, reliability and performance are the decision makers.
In line with the STOBER’S
reputation as the leader in helical gearing, the gear units are also equipped
with this same technology as standard. Having helical gearing, the STOBER PE planetary gears represent a first in this product
and price category and compared with the spur
gear units of others in the market, it is clear that
the helical gearing ensures very low noise levels and high smoothness of
operation. The single piece housing (a monobloc design) offers exceptional stability and the integral motor adapter caters for mounting any Servo or
Stepper motor with its
integral zero backlash clamp coupling.
Sizes go from the smallest PE2 (55mm SQ) upto PE5 (145mm SQ) with torques upto 300Nm, all being available in single and two stage versions with ratios upto 100:1.
Another highlight is the SMS PE-EZ planetary geared motor version. Its no-coupling integrated gear and motor construction results in a super compact, quiet running, weight saving automation drive; all products are manufactured by STOBER in Germany.
