Servo driven actuators

The new SA range of servo driven actuators from Techdrives is designed to take the place of pneumatic cylinders where better performance, higher precision or energy saving is required.
The Linear-Mech SA range comprises 7 sizes of ball screw actuators driven by servo motors. The square profiles and mounting options meet the standard ISO 15552. Dynamic loads are in the range 5000 to 40000N.
There are three different models of SA actuators available across the 7 sizes. These give options for free shaft input, for in-line servo motors or in a "U” configuration where the motor sits above the ball screw cylinder. Each model features a rolled ball screw to IT7 accuracy, higher accuracies are possible on request.
A zero backlash option can be specified for high precision positioning. Brushless servo motors with brakes and encoders together with matching drives are part of the package.
