Autonomous navigation
02 June 2014
Thanks to BlueBotics ANT lite+ technology, which provides autonomous navigation for localisation and control, Stöcklin has created its first automated forklift truck.

The latest, and substantially smaller, version of ANT localisation also sets new standards, as well as representing good value for money.
Designed for use in robotics platforms or automated guided vehicles, ANT localisation requires no additional infrastructure such as inductive wires or ground markings, it achieves a position accuracy of ±1cm and speeds of over 2.0m/s.
For localisation, the system takes data from its safety laser sensor, fixes the vehicle's position in its surroundings and reports the coordinates to the on-board computer. ANT localisation can be easily incorporated into any type of automated vehicle and can also be installed in manual forklifts for fleet tracking purposes.
