Packaging industry covered

For the packaging industry in particular, Megadyne offers new types of covers for machines transporting or packing products. The innovative covers – Bluegrip, TNX and Redgrip – are produced together with the belt, eliminating detachment problems. Three different hardnesses are available to ensure optimum grip and performance for any type of application.

Bluegrip and TNX covers are based on a natural rubber mixture which enables high abrasion resistance and good resistance to lubricating oils. They are made using a 'one shot' technique, which produces the cover and the belt body in one single step, resulting in a rubber belt with a glass fiber traction cable, and polyamide coating on the teeth.

Red Grip covers, designed for the use on polyurethane closed belts, are based on a hybrid compound of synthetic rubber and polyurethane and are extruded on the body of the belt, thus saving time by eliminating the gluing process.
