Interlocks & comms modules
19 October 2016
Industrial safety specialist Fortress Interlocks is showing its extensive range of safety interlocks, communications modules and accessories at this year’s SPC IPC Drives.
Technology on show will include:
- proNET, a PROFInet/PROFIsafe communications module for Fortress’ amGardpro interlocks.
- amGardncs, a robust, coded, non-contact, safety proximity switch. Long-lasting and requiring little maintenance, non-contact switches are used when precise guidance of guards can be difficult. With a stainless steel IP69K housing, the amGardncs is ideal when hygiene is important.
- amGardS40 stainless steel interlocks – designed for use in high purity process environments. It also has all of the features of the amGardpro range.
All these products are part of an ongoing process to integrate PROFIsafe and PROFInet Safety connectivity into Fortress’ safety interlock ranges.
