Stainless steel interlock switches
20 October 2016
The latest stainless steel interlock switches from Fortress Interlocks are for high purity applications such as food, beverage, pharmaceutical and chemical processing and are also suitable for outdoor use. Manufactured from 316 stainless steel and modular in design, the amGardS40 range can be configured to suit many industrial applications.
Manufactured from 316 stainless steel and modular in design, configurations for the amGardS40 include: Solenoid locking safety switches, non-solenoid tongue switches, mechanical trapped key interlocks, and machine control stations.
The switches are supplied in enclosures sealed to IP69K, allowing them to be pressure washed at high temperatures; they have a retention force of 10,000N, so are suitable for ensuring guard doors are held closed until machines and/or processes are in a safe condition. Each module is just 40mm wide.
