New from Carlo Gavazzi is a vandal proof photoelectric sensor in a robust aluminum housing capable of detecting up to 60m, allowing for detection of both vehicles and persons especially within harsh weather conditions such as snow, fog and rain.
The new PD140FNT60 through beam sensor is designed for the automatic and industrial door and gate applications. Sensing distances are achieved through Carlo-Gavazzi’s through beam technology, the lenses are adjustable in both 200° horizontal and 30° vertical directions which allows for uneven mounting surfaces, which allows flexible mounting, even when emitter and receiver are mounted at different heights.
The large aspheric lens is designed to give a superior homogeneous light beam over the total beam angle. Optimised for +5° beam angle and ensures long sensing range and easy alignment. Whilst the Green laser alignment tool assists with easy and visible alignment which results in a significant time saving.
Supply voltage is 12- 24 VAC/aDC, , 1A SPDT relay output, connection is made using a self-lifting terminal block, 1.5mm2 (AWG 16) and a test input built in to the emitter, Yellow LED for output indication and Green LED indication for power ON.
