New high-performance controller from Phoenix Contact
07 July 2020
With the new PLCnext Control AXC F 3152 controller, Phoenix Contact now provides a high-performance Axioline controller based on the open PLCnext Technology ecosystem.
The new controller is suitable for demanding applications without safety requirements. The highly modular controller features three separate Gigabit Ethernet interfaces, of which two are also TSN-ready. With the separate interfaces for the Profinet controller functions and device functions, large Profinet networks are said to be particularly easy to segment.
The AXC F 3152 controller features a connection to the Proficloud making it an IIOT ready device enabling simple networking of the system beyond local boundaries. As with all PLCnext Technology Control devices, the controller makes high-level language programming possible in addition to classic PLC programming in accordance with IEC 61131.
PLC-typical real-time performance and data consistency are therefore also guaranteed for high-level languages and model-based code.
