Designed for motors ranging from 2.3 up to 13.8kV, Fairford Electronics’ Centris is a medium voltage motor control solution for motor sizes up to 600A.
The controller can work within any medium voltage application which runs at a fixed speed. The product is reported to provide superior power control and allow maximum protection with
‘true thermal modelling’, by enabling smooth, stepless control of acceleration and deceleration.
Similar medium voltage technologies have been used around the globe in applications from the marine industry to oil and gas, as well as by organisations such as NASA, and US Government buildings including the Pentagon.
