TURNKEY SYSTEMS
26 November 2012
Supplier of maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) product and services, Brammer, has joined forces with bearings and lubrication specialist SKF to help deliver a turnkey solution for a vital automotive application.
The Tyne & Wear operation of assembly tooling supplier Expert Tooling initially contactedSKF for assistance with the development of a lubrication system for a new piece of tooling to insert bushes into position on a car suspension subframe. SKF and Brammer experts worked with Expert Toolings team to design the system with Brammer supplying a range of SKF pumps, nozzles and valves. These have enabled Expert Tooling to build a range of systems incorporating a closed box into which each bush is inserted for automatic lubrication before loading into the subframe.
