Energy efficient
05 September 2013
In the last six years supplier to the automotive trade, DMS Chromium, has invested in eight Romi-Sandretto machines. This year alone it has added three an EN100, and EN 150 and a Mega TES 820.
One of the advantages of the latest generation Romi-Sandretto machines is that they are more energy-efficient. DMS Chromium was an early adopter of ISO 14001 environmental accreditation.
"We have carbon emission targets and a robust plan to improve year on year. Ten years on it’s getting harder and harder to improve and that’s when machines which provide electric efficiency come into their own. Electricity is one of the biggest costs in running these machines and they have become even more energy efficient in the last four years,” says Chris Sharpe, managing director.
