High speed vision
12 August 2014
As well as showing its full range of automation solutions, Omron will debut its FH high-speed compact vision system at PPMA 2014. Experts will also be on hand to demonstrate how seamless integration on the open Sysmac automation platform can cut leadtimes for machine builders, while allowing both builders and end users to keep their technology options open.

The FH vision system is said to provide the highest image capture and processing speeds in its class - operating 10 times faster than conventional systems - as well as seamless integration with PLCs, motion controllers and robotic control systems.
A Delta robot will also be in operation on the Omron stand, illustrating how complementary technologies can be controlled through Sysmac.
Omron’s Sysmac ‘wall’ demonstration will show how integrated, open controls can be used to calculate vitally important metrics such as Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and connect with enterprise-level planning systems. Stand C31
