Sensors & Instrumentation 2014
26 August 2014
When it returns to Birmingham’s NEC on 30th September, the annual Sensors & Instrumentation exhibition will be the largest so far

The two-day show will feature more companies, larger stands, and an even greater variety of technologies.
Among the companies who have taken stands this year are: PR Electronics, Huba Control, Michell Instruments, FLIR Commercial Systems, Sterling Sensors, Micro- Epsilon, National Instruments, Bronkhorst, Chell Instruments and GE Measurement & Control.
As a result, a wide variety of products will be on show, ranging from sensors and transducers to flow measurement technologies, test equipment, vision systems, connectors and data acquisition solutions.
To enable visitors to get the most from their day, a comprehensive seminar programme will be running alongside the exhibition with speakers discussing a range of relevant topics, including: ‘Five red flags to consider before configuring your next measurement system’ by Kyle Voosen of National Instruments; ‘Flexibility in force measurement’ by Thomas Kleckers, HBM; and ‘Accelerometers – the truth and more’ by Neill Ovenden, DJB Instruments.
Sensors & Instrumentation 2014 will be co-located with the Machine Building show, Micro, Nano, Mems, and TCT Live, with Interplas and PPMA taking place at the same time.
Commenting on the event, Kathryn Ambrose, show organiser, said: "Sensors & Instrumentation has gone from strength to strength and this year promises to be a great show. Not only do we have more exhibitors than ever before, but the co-location will appeal to exhibitors and visitors alike. We look forward to welcoming you to the event.”
