Wachendorff Automation, the Geisenheim, Germany-based encoder manufacturer, has extended its WDGA series absolute encoders with PROFINET-IO and EtherCAT Industrial Ethernet interfaces.
With the new WDGA58F, Wachendorff is reported to have succeeded in constructing the world's smallest design in both diameter and length, saving valuable installation space in new or retrofit applications. Despite the compact design, high bearing loads ensure durability and maximum service life.
Wachendorff’s PROFINET / EtherCAT encoders are able to keep pace with the latest PLC technologies thanks to minimum bus cycle times.
