Integrated servomotors
05 January 2026
AVAILABLE WITH full application support from Mclennan in the UK, JVL’s new generation MAC series integrated servomotors are available in seven model options for DC or direct-on-line AC operation in 60 and 80mm2 frame sizes.

The series covers continuous power ratings from 400 to 1500W (with 3x peak power), and speeds to 3000rpm. A built-in industrial Ethernet interface provides seamless PLC integration in combination with comprehensive self-diagnostic capabilities and safety functions. Offering significant performance and efficiency improvements over earlier models, a faster processor and redesigned hardware delivers precise and rapid control that is perfectly suited to high-throughput motion control tasks in industrial automation. The MAC servo specification includes 100% duty cycle, 24/7 operation, unlimited production down-time, and 10-year operation.
The new generation MAC servomotor series integrates motor, encoder, drive and control electronics in a single compact housing, eliminating the need for a separate control cabinet and reducing machine wiring complexity and cost. The robust construction provides IP54 or optionally IP66 protection. The Ethernet interface supports major industrial Ethernet protocols including Profinet, EtherNet/IP, EtherCAT, SERCOS, ModbusTCP/UDP, and Powerlink. A CANopen protocol with DS 301 and DSP402 support is also available.
The embedded PLC (ePLCTM) can be applied to stand-alone operation and may be used in combination with a complement of 8 configurable I/O points as digital inputs or outputs – or analogue inputs. I/O can also be assigned for use as local/remote control for a centralised PLC. The new JVL servomotors integrate easily with machines, allowing configuration from a PLC via Siemens or Rockwell Automation function blocks, or programming with JVL’s MacTalk software.
The new MAC series offers power ratings of 400, 750, 1000 and 1500 W for 115 or 230 VAC operation and 750, 1200 and 1500 W for 24 to 48 VDC. With comprehensive flexibility for automation applications, numerous options include integrated brakes, gear units, IP67 protection, STO connector with SoE, wireless communication interface, IO Link and cable accessories.
