Rapid operating speed

Offering the simplicity of pneumatic cylinders, switched on versions of the new EPCO electric actuators – available from Thorite – provide the advantages of rapid operating speeds and flexibility associated with electric drive.
The new range is available in equivalent versions of 16, 25 and 40mm pneumatic cylinders. Positioning can be set anywhere within the stroke limit, with a repetition accuracy of 0.02mm, enabling flexible, fast and reliable product processing and grade changes.
By combining the electric actuators with EPCO's CMMO-ST drive up to 31 preconfigured parameters can be easily set controlling positioning, velocity and force, all of which can be sequenced in any order. Programming is simple too – the CMMO-ST drive can be commissioned via the internet and OEMs or end-users can connect to the drive via their ethernet IP address.
