More processing power
06 May 2016
Providing more processing power for higher performance in demanding multi-axis mode, Stober has added the new high-performance Motion Controller MC6xx5 to the MC6 product program.
The performance of the new Motion Controller MC6x05 (for control cabinet installation) and MC6x15 (with touch panel) derives from the Intel CoreT i3 Dual-Core processor with 2.4 GHz. Peripherals can be interfaced with either EtherCAT or USB3, opening up new potential applications in the field of image recognition or vision systems.
The improved processor power of the new motion controllers is said to offer ideal preconditions for highly dynamic drive solutions. The dual core processor guarantees a runtime-optimised processing load distribution.
